Welcome to English 101! All materials for this course are OER (Open Educational Resources). You can access all readings for this course either here or on Blackboard. We will practice deep reading, analysis, comparison and research using wonderful texts by authors including David Sedaris, Zadie Smith, Chimamanda Adiche and Ralph Waldo Emerson. I hope you will love them as much as I do. During the semester, we will write three essays, and have one final exam.
